The Red Tractor logo can only be used on food that has been produced, transported, processed and packed to Red Tractor standards and licensing rules.
The standards in all farming sectors (such as chicken, dairy or vegetables) have been agreed by a panel of experts to ensure that our standards are as robust as possible.
To check our standards are being met, we work with over 350 trained and experienced independent inspectors to collectively conduct over 60,000 inspections a year. That’s an average of 164 inspections every day!
So, you can be reassured that products carrying the Red Tractor logo are traceable, safe, and farmed with care.
