Red Tractor is a world-leading, independent, British food assurance scheme. Our logo is only found on British food and drink products that have been certified to meet our rigorous standards from farms to pack.
We work with over 350 independent inspectors and together, they carry out over 60,000 inspections per year right across the supply chain, from farming and transportation to production and packing.
Every Red Tractor farm is routinely inspected every year or 18-months, depending on the farming system. Our standards are based on good agricultural practice, scientific evidence, and are specific to each sector.
Our standards are kept up to date with the help of experts from across the food chain, including scientists, vets, technical and consumer experts, farmers, food processors, retailers and more.
