This logo is used for products where the certified ingredient makes up at least 95% of the finished product e.g. milk, fresh produce and meat.
The Certified Standards logo is our stalwart Red Tractor logo and tells you that the product you’re about to buy has been assured from farms to pack and is traceable, safe and farmed with care. We do the work, so you don’t have to.
This logo is used for products where the certified ingredient makes up less than 95% of the finished product, for example, the chicken in a chicken kiev. 100% of the named ingredient or ingredients must be assured.
This means that the named ingredient in the product you’re buying has been assured to Red Tractor standards and, in line with our certified standards, is traceable, safe and farmed with care.
Underpinned by all the animal welfare, food safety and traceability checks of our Certified Standards, our Enhanced Welfare chickens are raised in spacious barns, have more room and enriched living conditions in which to grow, roam and play.
Our chickens are raised by British farmers, who are inspected regularly to ensure they meet our rigorous standards.
Also underpinned by all the Certified Standards, the ‘Free Range’ logo is for poultry products where the birds have had access to outdoor ranges for at least half their life.
