Member Portal

Upload, track and manage records online and on the move

All Red Tractor members can register to access our Member Portal.

Red Tractor’s Member Portal allows you to upload documents and records which help demonstrate compliance ahead of your farm assessment. Using the portal means:

  • Records are kept safely online ready for your assessment.
  • The assessor will review your documents before visiting your farm.
  • When visiting your farm, the assessor will take less time looking at paperwork, saving time on the day.

You can share the responsibility of uploading documents and records with colleagues or service providers, such as farm secretaries. Only those who have permissions via your Red Tractor membership will be able to view your information.

Please ensure all documentation is uploaded to the portal in advance of your farm assessment – no less than 48 hours.

How to register for the RT portal

You can login to the portal using the same credentials you use to access the Red Tractor Checkers and Services Website. You will need to select the schemes you are currently assured to and include your membership number ad postcode. Once you have this information, Red Tractor will send through an email confirming the application prior to sending an additional email with your username and password once approved.

If you operate across multiple sites then these will need to register for each site individually once you have initially registered. You will need to login, click on the ‘apply for additional member services’ on the right-hand side and follow the prompts.

If you have lost your username/password or find they are no longer valid, please contact portal@redtractor.org.uk.

Please ensure that you keep these credentials safe and secure, limiting their distribution within your farming enterprise.

Once you have finished using the portal, click on the logout icon to the top right of your screen. This will then prompt you to confirm that you would like to exit the portal. This will help to keep your account, and documents you upload safe.

The portal has been built to be usable by as many of our members as possible across a range of devices. For best results, we suggest using a computer/laptop running a supported web browser (see below). It should also work on most tablets and smartphone devices released in the last two years.

Supported browsers

The portal requires an up to date web browser to work. If yours is not up to date, you will be taken to a page asking you to upgrade. For best results we recommend using the latest release of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari.

You can check which browsers you are using, and details on its version, by clicking here. If you’re having difficulties using the portal, we may ask you for details provided by the third parties’ website.

Once you’ve logged onto the portal, you should see your main sites listed with the associated memberships. Please let Red Tractor (portal@redtractor.org.uk) know if the information provided online is incorrect and needs amending.

Uploading documents

After you have logged in you will see a list of your sites. Clicking on the blue “Upload Documents” button for a site will take you to the Completion Summary page for that site. Here you will be able to navigate the individual sections down the left hand side. Once you have selected a section, an additional two columns will appear: one showing the Requirements and the other Evidence. Click the + icon to upload a document / photo from your computer or drag and drop into the evidence area or onto a specific requirement. Here you can amend the title of the document and image. To delete an uploaded document simply click on the bin icon to remove the file.
