Do I need a Licence?

As a whole supply chain assurance scheme, we licence businesses so we have the required oversight at each key stage of the supply chain to ensure that any product carrying a Red Tractor claim is Red Tractor assured and British.
The word ‘claim’ is to claim to source and supply Red Tractor Assured products, whether or not our logos are physically applied to a product, paperwork, marketing materials, website or menus.
Examples of making a Red Tractor claim
1
Communicating you sell Red Tractor Assured products (website / menus / emails / marketing materials) through use of the logo or Red Tractor terminology

2
Paperwork associated with product confirming the RT status through use of Red Tractor terminology
e.g. RT, RTA, RT Assured, Red Tractor, Red Tractor Assured

3
Meeting a buying specification and / or customer code of practice

4
Application of logo to product
