To celebrate our campaign, ‘With You For 25 Years’, we teamed up with TV presenter and Celebrity MasterChef winner, Angellica Bell, in 2025 to highlight the importance of cooking with loved ones, and spending quality time with the family in the kitchen.
With new research revealing that 63% of Brits say retro recipes they serve up to loved ones have been passed down to them through the generations, we hosted an intergenerational cook-off with Angellica, celebrating cherished family dishes and the memories that come with them.
Our survey spotlighted much loved British favourites that have stood the test of time – from comforting classics like toad in the hole and bubble and squeak, to family staples like casseroles and crumbles. It showed that these dishes continue to feature on dinner tables across the UK, generation after generation.
As well as discovering the importance of these dishes to families, we highlighted the key role Red Tractor has played in ensuring the safety and traceability of food produced in the UK. By collaborating with home cooks across the UK, we highlighted the importance of choosing ingredients that meet high standards, giving parents confidence in the food they cook and share with their loved ones.
